Beastlings

Outraged, the king adjusted his crown and looked out from his balcony: over villages, hills, and the enchanted forest to Thunder Mountain. There, in the distance, lay the source of all evil! There lived the monster that sent out the Beastlings to enslave the land.

But now he'd had enough. The king stood up straight, looking determinedly ahead. Now he would take his royal sword, his royal armor, his royal ... At that moment, there was a loud roar and hiss from Thunder Mountain, and the king quickly dropped on the floor.

When it grew quiet again, he picked up his crown and cautiously peered over the edge of the balcony's railing. Heroes. He would send the heroes. They would take care of it.

Beastlings is a game in which you are sent by the king to defeat Beastlings and finally face the great monster at Thunder Mountain. You travel through hedge mazes, dark hills, and catacombs ... and in the end, the player who has accumulated the most gold on their journey wins.

The mechanism is simple: when it's your turn, you roll the hero dice three times and then face the Beastlings that are currently in front of you. With skillful dice distribution, you can defeat as many of them as possible, receive gold in return, and move steps closer to Thunder Mountain.

But take a close look to see if it might be better to lure other Beastlings. Maybe you need a bait or should ask the King's Guard for help (and thus be allowed to take the King's Guard die with you). And you have to take care to prepare for the big battle against the monster at Thunder Mountain.

Beastlings is a fun family game for up to 5 players, where luck with the dice and the right strategy for fighting the Beastlings are key.
