The goal of the game is to orchestrate a flawless spectacle, managing to accumulate exactly 21 items in the arena during your performance. Through a fast and engaging mechanic, players simultaneously choose and reveal cards from their hands. These cards represent the elements of the festival, from numerical values ​​to build the score to powerful special items — such as The Shaman, The Lady of the Pavilion, or the Warrior Cunhã — that alter the rules in your favor.

However, the true essence of Contrário lies in the provocation and interaction with your opponent. The opposing fans are always on the lookout, ready to ruin your show. Players can use the back of their cards to point out "flaws" in their opponent's presentation, such as a disjointed choreography, fireworks that failed, or a float that doesn't move.
