Dodo Volcano

Welcome to Dolcania, the last refuge of the peaceful dodos... but also of a raging volcano!

Save the dodos from the terrible eruption, but be careful, volcanic rocks are raining down and the dodos are panicking!

Bring as many dodos as possible back to the center of the island, where they will be safe.

Each turn can bring new threats: dodge the burning rocks, outwit your opponents, and save these clumsy birds before it's too late.

A quick, simple game full of twists and turns.

In Dodo Volcano, it's total panic: your dodos are running around as the volcano wakes up and erupts!

Your mission? Bring these big, clumsy birds back to the center of the island before they end up as roasted dodos.

Summary of the game rules

1. Randomly draw as many Volcanic Rock tiles as you have Dodo tokens. Place your Dodos on the squares corresponding to the coordinates of the drawn tiles. Then return all the tiles to the opaque bag. The first player can start. 2A. Draw a Volcanic Rock tile and place it on the board. The square is now blocked and inaccessible. If a Dodo was on it, it is removed from the game. 2B. Move one of your Dodos 1 to 3 squares orthogonally.
2. If you cross squares occupied by other Dodos, you immediately take control of them – even those of your opponents!
3. Bring your Dodos (or stacks of Dodos) to the center of the island to save them.
4. Dodo Nests allow you to move faster. Reach a Nest, draw a Volcanic Rock tile, and place it on the board: your Dodo lands on it and remains protected as long as it remains there.
5. If Volcanic Rocks block all access to the center of the island or to the Dodo Nests, your trapped Dodos remain there until the end of the game.
6. When a player can no longer move Dodos, they continue playing but draw 2 Volcanic Rocks per turn. Dodos crushed by these rocks are recovered by that player and earn points.
7. The game ends immediately as soon as no Dodo can reach the center of the board. Each player scores 2 points for each Dodo of their color and 1 point for each Dodo saved. The highest score is chosen as the Great Dodo Savior!
