After a treacherous sneak attack by the Padishah Emperor and House Harkonnen, the young Paul Atreides finds refuge with the indigenous Fremen who believe him to be their “Giver of Water”, a messianic off-world prophet destined to lead them out of darkness. The new Duke forms a massive army of Fremen fighters with the aim of fulfilling the prophecy, changing the course of humanity forever.
"DUNE: Struggle for Arrakis" is a two-player Strategic wargame depicting the insurgency known as the Arrakis Revolt. The game builds upon Mark Simonitch's The U.S. Civil War (GMT), adding new twists like changeable terrain, heavy storms and sandworms – all with a simplified ruleset and a more manageable playtime. The game is non-profit and free to download and play.
