Elemental Beasts

Daikoro: Elemental Dice Duel is a strategic two-player dice-drafting card game where you combine elemental forces to summon powerful Guardian Beasts and battle your opponent.

GAME OVERVIEW

Each player drafts an army of five creatures and a set of three dice. Every round, you'll roll your chosen die alongside a shared Environment Die, attempting to match the elemental combinations your creatures require. Successfully match the elements, and you summon that creature to attack your opponent or heal your allies.

Victory comes through clever drafting, probability management, and tactical combat. Eliminate all five of your opponent's creatures to win.

CORE MECHANICS

• Dice Drafting: Choose 3 dice from a pool of 8, each with different elemental distributions
• Creature Drafting: Snake draft 5 creatures from a roster of 10 unique Guardian Beasts
• Element Matching: Roll two dice (Environment + Your Choice) to create elemental combinations
• Strategic Summoning: Match your roll to a creature's element requirements to summon it
• Tactical Combat: Creatures have unique abilities, resistances, and attack values

THE FOUR ELEMENTS

Fire (Aggressive), Water (Sustaining), Earth (Durable), Wind (High-Impact)

Each creature requires a specific pair of elements to summon - some need the same element twice (Pure types like Fire/Fire), while others need two different elements (Dual types like Fire/Water).

WHAT MAKES IT SPECIAL

Elemental Beasts: Dice Duel was designed as a father-son collaboration project. The game balances accessibility (ages 7+, 30-40 minute play time) with strategic depth through its interlocking drafting, probability, and combat systems.

Extensive playtesting and balance iteration have produced a roster where every creature is viable - strong players will win most games, but the dice ensure underdogs always have a chance.
