Galactic Storm: The Game of Galactic Empires

Welcome to the exciting world of Empire Management, a position with great job perks such as having a diversity of tasks to undertake, being able to choose whatever planets that you want to colonize, and having the freedom to choose your own hours of work with five weeks paid vacation included.

However, this job can have its downside as there will be a lot of competition from other up-and-coming emperors who may want to take control over your hard-won planets, and to make you a puppet of their own empire.

The main objective though is to get as much recognition as an emporer through gaining victory points by whatever means are available. This can be through war, trade, exploration, the building of monuments; or from a bit of all four.

The overview of this game is that each player will start on their own home planet, and this will generate resources that will allow them to build fleets of space ships that can then fly to other planets and colonize them, and will also allow them to develop new technologies thus creating more resources either way. Of course, on the board, there is only a limited number of planets, and so conflict may ensue.

However, the game isn't always about conflict as the main aim is to gain a certain number of victory points to win the game, and this can be done by terraforming planets, building monuments and giving humanitarian aid to other empires whose people may be suffering.

Although this game can be played with just two players, it is better when there are at least three players.
