Gods of Olympus

Gods of Olympus is a Board Game for players aged 12 to adult. The game can be played in 2-6 individual players or teams and it includes a variety of challenges. There are 7 categories of challenges- 5 power challenges -Knowledge, Performance, Visual, Physical, Logical- plus General challenges and Battle challenges. Each category has at least 10 different types of tasks of different difficulty levels and styles.

The game is staged in Ancient Greece when Gods were ruling over the earth and influenced the lives of men. The players enter the Labyrinth and go towards the center to beat the Minotaur and become Heroes. On their way, players gather Powers, by completing challenges. Once they are heroes, they need to go back and get out of the Labyrinth. Only a true God can escape the mythical Maze alive. On their way back they need stronger powers that they gather by completing Hero challenges. The first to escape the Labyrinth is the winner – a God of Olympus.

The story: The Gods of Olympus decided to welcome one human among them as one of their peers. But it cannot be any human. He/she has to be worthy of becoming a God, the best they can find, one who is a true hero and of special character. Each city of Ancient Greece selected their best representative and sent them to participate to the Gods of Olympus Challenge. Each city selected the bravest, the strongest, the smartest and the most talented citizen to represent them in the Gods Challenge and gain protection of the Gods for their city and the people living in it.

You are the representative of one of the cities of Ancient Greece. As your city representative you will have to enter the Labyrinth, face multiple challenges that require skill, strength, knowledge, reach the Centre of the Labyrinth and face the Minotaur. To reach the centre of the labyrinth you need the 5 magic powers you gain on your way, but you also need luck and a good strategy. You have to act smart, solve the challenges and move fast inside the labyrinth and out. On your way, you'll have to avoid dangerous creatures like the Gorgons that can turn you into stone. You may also have to fight your opponents in fair battle, especially if they attack you. Only the first getting out of the labyrinth can become a God of Olympus and anyone can still win the game no matter how advanced the other players are, provided they play smart.
