The monkeys need to cross a river full of dangers. The length of the playing field is determined at the players' discretion. A starting shore is set up. The active player rolls a die, then picks up the corresponding number of tiles from a stack and places them adjacent to the starting shore.

The active player rolls a die, then picks up the corresponding number of tiles from a stack and places them adjacent to the starting shore. The tiles have different effects, there are crocodiles or tree trunks which slow down the monkeys, other tiles speed them up. The first player to reach the other side of the river wins.
