Patterns

Patterns is played on an empty 5x5 square board. On the first move the first player drops one of his stones on an empty cell.

After that,each player may make one of the following: (1) Drop two stones making no captures. (2) Drop one stone to capture enemy stones that share the same pattern (including rotations) on 2x2 non-intersecting areas.

Wins the player that captures nine stones or stalemates the opponent.
