Planet Fulcrum is a strategic 1–4 player area control board game of territory, character progression, morality and deck-driven battle.
Drawn by forces beyond their understanding, players awaken on Planet Fulcrum, a mysterious living world rich with Fulcra Ore. This rare energy source fuels their growth, allowing them to claim territory, upgrade powers and unlock powerful abilities.
Each turn follows a simple loop: move across the map, take an action, then track how that action affects your morality. Players can collect Fulcra, claim territory, upgrade Power cards or battle rivals. As their influence spreads across Fulcrum’s five regions, their character becomes stronger, gaining new abilities and tactical options.
Every region is tied to a core power. Speed increases movement, Strength and Resilience shape combat, Intelligence affects your hand of modifiers, and Energy controls how much Fulcra you can hold. The more territory you control, the more powerful you become.
Conflict is inevitable. When players meet on the same space, battle begins. Combat combines current power levels with hidden Meteor card modifiers, revealed at the final moment. Victory can weaken your opponent and strip them of control, while defeat may cost you power and position.
But Planet Fulcrum is always watching. Every decision moves the Morality Tracker, shifting players towards one of three factions: Guardians, Nomads or Overlords. Guardians are honourable and cooperative, Nomads are balanced and adaptable, while Overlords are ruthless seekers of dominance. Your faction shapes your strategy and how you interact with the world.
The Epic Edition includes the full Planet Fulcrum experience, with 16 playable characters, character-specific Meteor modifiers, solo play against AI opponents of varying difficulty, and the complete progression and combat systems.
The game ends when the final territory is claimed. Players score for territory control, power levels, resources and cards. The player with the greatest influence becomes the champion of Planet Fulcrum.
