Welcome to planet Ratyl. Thousands of years after humans abandon an exhausted trade planet, rats now thrive. Centuries of progress sees significant technology and cultural advancements, however rat identity continues to clash with the previous human influence. A toxic but necessary monarchy of cats surface to keep rat numbers under control and protect the civilisation known as Ratyl. With the rat community becoming too advanced; King Apollyn bans all human culture and bi-pedal affections. A resistance of outlaws form an uprising to regain control of their planet with a desire for knowledge of the humanoid past.

Ratyl is perfect to play solo or with a friend. It's incredibly snappy while creating countless 'oh my gosh!' moments of success and failure. Easily thrown in a bag at around the size of a VHS case.

The meaty dexterity layer will have you tossing, placing and moving diamonds that satisfyingly (I mean like really satisfying) rattle into a 5x10 grid. There are twenty mini games from super cozy to super crunchy. Can you escape the room as an assassin, build a successful veggie crop or invade your opponents castle?

A layer of strategy has you drafting a hand of outlaw rats that allow you to alter the game state with various powers. Rewind an action, steal an outlaw card or move a diamond at will to name a few.

Finally place the powerful polyomino pieces to persuade the diamonds to fall in your favour and increase your chances of dextrous success.
