Resolve - The Last Sanctuary is free to PnP as I have a MIGHTY NEED for play testers. The game is in Early development meaning that art and aesthetics are no where NEAR being finalized and a few items may make no sense at all. That's where ya'll come in. Welcome to the world of Aether. Generations ago, a shimmering tear in the sky appeared. We call it Great Void Rift.The last bastion of civilization is the Citadel of Aethel, built atop an ancient nexus of spiritual and logistical power.

The citadel functions as a kind of global command center, where the world's remaining resources are pooled and its defenses are coordinated. The Citadel’s physical and magical defenses are constantly being corroded by the Rift's chaotic energy manifesting as a looming Crisis. Over time, the crisis becomes more urgent and the Citadel's collapse becomes imminent.

The players are not kings or heroes, but the Resolvers—a highly specialized council of tactical minds, resource managers, and spiritual leaders. They are the only ones with the authority to draw upon the shared Communal Deck of resources (Logistics, Chants, Relics) and contribute power to seal the threats.

Because the survival of the Citadel depends entirely on their strategic choices, the Ruling Elder Council monitors their performance. The goal is paradoxical: the Resolvers must stabilize the collective crisis while vying for the individual recognition (Trust) required to be named ruler and lead the world into the next age of peace.
