Movement in any direction is 6 spaces for the infantry or 10 spaces for the cavalry per turn. The player has to decide if he moves his infantry or cavalry.
The players try to take enemy pieces by enclose them so that they can't move. Enclosed troops are removed from the game.
The first player to take 10 enemy pieces wins the game
The 1933 edition of the game includes two expansions for advanced players: "Zeppelin and airplanes" and "Trenches".
