Tinderblox

To set up Tinderblox, place a small wooden tower, typically consisting of three blocks, on a designated base card in the center of the playing area. The remaining wooden blocks are kept in a tin, and a deck of instruction cards is shuffled and placed face down nearby. Each player will draw from this deck to determine their actions during their turn.

The primary objective of Tinderblox is to be the last player to successfully add a wooden block to the growing tower without causing any part of it to collapse. Players aim to maintain the tower's stability while following the specific placement rules dictated by the cards they draw.

On a player's turn, they first draw an instruction card from the deck. This card will specify which color block to pick from the tin and how it must be placed on the tower (e.g., horizontally, vertically, or at an angle). Players must use the provided tweezers to carefully pick up the specified block and place it on the tower according to the card's instructions, without using their fingers to touch the tower or other blocks.

Tinderblox is not a points-based game. There is no scoring system; instead, it is a game of elimination. The focus is on being the last player to successfully complete their turn without toppling the tower, rather than accumulating points.

The game concludes immediately when a player fails to successfully place a block and causes any part of the tower to fall. That player is eliminated, and the player who completed the previous turn successfully is declared the winner.
