Wargaming in Egypt and the Sudan

There's something about Victorian colonial exploits that stirs the blood. Grim faced, khaki clad infantry faced by overwhelming numbers of tribesmen who know no fear and take on troops armed with modern rifles, artillery and machine guns while they themselves have only hand held weapons. The aim of this book is to provide the reader and war gamer with some idea as to how the campaigns were fought and how they might be re-created on the table top.

 the Re-conquest of the Sudan 1895-1896
