Xor0: A Card Game

A Xor0 deck consists of 63 cards. Each card has a unique combination of six dots. Each dot is identified by both a color and a number. A player wins by quickly finding "Xor0" groups of cards. Techniques for finding Xor0 groups include visual pattern matching, dot counting, binary numbers math, or any combination thereof.

A Xor0 group is a group of cards where each dot color appears an even number of times. The name of the game derives from the fact that after summing up the numbers on each card and applying the mathematical XOR operation to them has the result zero.

The game is played in rounds. A round starts by taking seven cards from a shuffled deck and placing them face up on the table. There is always at least one Xor0 group present in the seven cards. The player who first spots a Xor0 group announces it by saying "Xor0!" and pointing out the group. All player collaboratively validate that the group is indeed a Xor0 group. If confirmed, the player who found the group takes the cards in the group. Otherwise, the player must pause until another player finds a valid group. After a player found and took the cards, the seven cards on the table are replenished from the deck and all players look for the next Xor0 group. The round ends as soon as the last card is drawn from the deck. The player who collected the most cards during a round wins. Ties are broken by number of dots collected.

The difficulty of the game can be adjusted by playing with a partial deck that omits one (or two or three) of the six dot colors.
