Battle of Solomon

Battle of Solomon is a card game that recreates the fierce fighting between Japanese and US forces in the Solomon and New Guinea theaters during the middle of the Pacific War. Players on both sides organize and deploy their forces to vie for control of various areas. "Organize and deploy your forces to seize control of the New Guinea front!"

The cards represent the land, naval, and air forces committed to the conflict. Players select cards to build their decks, then deploy the units drawn from those decks to capture locations on the battlefield—which are also represented by cards.

A key feature of this game is that the concept of "supply" lies at the heart of the system. To secure a location, a player must hold it for a certain duration. Consequently, victory depends not merely on concentrating military might, but also on securing supplies and planning logistics. These elements skillfully recreate the tension of the Solomon campaign—often described as a "war of supply."

At the same time, the system is designed to be simple and accessible, even for players accustomed to Euro-style games, allowing them to focus on the gameplay itself. You can fully enjoy this title as a highly competitive deck-building game, even without prior historical knowledge.
