Musta Maija

A traditional Finnish card game, based on Russian Durak. The goal of the game is to shed cards. On each turn, the active player ("attacker") plays any number of cards in one suit to next player ("defender"). The defender may beat them by playing cards from her hand, either higher cards in the same suit or any cards in the trump suit.

Queen of Spades (aka Musta Maija or Black Mary) cannot be beaten or used to beat anything. As long as there's talon left, players fill their cards to five cards after each turn. Once the talon runs out, the players who get rid of their cards exit the game. The player who is left with the Queen of Spades is the loser.
