1917 is a wargame for five players on the Bolshevik Revolution. Each player represents a faction leader in Russia's government and the goal is to eliminate all other players before the Bolsheviks take control. The factions are The Kulaks, The People (general populace of Russia), The Czar, The Army, and the Aristocracy. The Bolshevik are not controlled by a player. Special events in the game such as Recruiting, Unrest, Solidarity, and Propaganda are randomly determined by cards.
