4 Letter Words

4 Letter Words is the fun, strategic card game in which you connect cards, as you try to create the most words, and score the most points, possible!

How To Play Select a player to keep score for each participant, as the game progresses, buy use of a writing instrument and a piece of paper. Next, shuffle the deck, deal each player 5 cards, and set it face down. Draw 1 card and place it face-up in the centre of the playing area. The player left of the dealer has the first turn.

For each turn, a player may place any card held on an open side of any card on the playing surface that create a 4 letter word, in a grid that expands in any direction, which scores the player points on the card played. If multiple words are created by the play, the card's score is multiplied by the number of words made. Thereafter, the player may play additional card, up to all 5 held at the beginning of the turn. The total score earned on all cards played is multiplied by the number of cards played, as a bonus. All cards played during a turn must be linked by at least one side. All words created must be found on the "4 Letter Word List" card.

To end a turn, the player draws cards to replenish his or her hand to a total of 5. If a player is unable to play even a single card, the turn is forfeited. Play continues clockwise until all cards have been placed.

The player with the highest score wins!
