AFFINITY

アフィニティー (AFFINITY) is a game of fantasy medieval war and politics, from Japan. Players build up armies to fight for the kingdom, using bluffing and bargaining. Using psychology to out-think the opponents is needed, as the ending is never certain.

After a long war, the feudal system has declined, and leading aristocrats began to fight for the right to inherit the throne. Soldiers engage in combat seeking specific rewards.

Practical rewards often cause betrayal and secession and end the era of loyalty and justice. In such an era, you must become one of the leading aristocracy. Form an army stronger than anyone in an arms race, for the war will bring in troops and mercenaries owned by other aristocrats.

Only players can see their units targeted for the competition, so it is fun to have a psychological battle with such bluffing or bargaining. Without knowing the enmey well enough, players cannot forecast the winner. user summary

長く続いた戦乱の末に封建制度は衰退し、有力貴族は王位継承権を巡る争いを始める。兵は報酬など具体的な見返りを基に戦役従事する事となった。実利的な見返りは裏切りや離反を多発させ忠誠と正義の時代は終わりを告げる。そんな時代の最中、あなたは有力貴族の一人となって、他の貴族が所有する部隊や傭兵を抱き込み来る戦争の為に軍拡競争をして、だれよりも強力な軍隊を編成しなくはなりません。

・競の対象となる部隊は親のみが見る事が出来るのでブラフや駆け引きといった心理戦が行われる所が楽しい。

・最後まで競り取った部隊の内容が見れないので最後まで勝者がわからない。

・手札の報酬カードには競りで有利になる能力がある物もある為、手札の中で自分なりの戦略を構築するのが楽しい。
