"Card game for 2-4+ players. Theme: Age of Reason 18th Century. Players try to claim the most/best people and ideas from The Age of Enlightenment."

The game is played with two custom decks, the Personage Deck and the Discovery Deck. Only Personage Cards are held in a player's hand. The Discovery Cards are drawn and distributed for scoring purposes.

"The game ends when both decks have been used up. The player with the most Enlightenment points wins." Each Discovery Card has a specified point value. Points are also awarded for having the most cards in a category (such as scientists, philosophers, and musicians.)
