Anachrony

In this 2-player setup of Anachrony with the Fractures of Time expansion, players arrange the central board, valley board, player boards, fractured devices, and deploy components such as flux cores, exo-suits, workers, resources, and end-game objectives. The time track is adjusted for a shorter 5-era game, and variable anomalies are prepared.

Players aim to lead their ideological path to dominance, rebuilding society after a global cataclysm while navigating the complexities of time travel. The goal is to collect resources, construct buildings and super projects, hire and motivate workers, and manage anomalies to secure the highest victory point total.

A game round consists of distinct phases: the Warp Phase (returning resources from the past), the Preparation Phase (turning cards, rolling dice, refreshing tracks), the Action Phase (placing exo-suits and operators to take actions, utilize new valley spaces, and blink across time), and the Cleanup Phase (retrieving workers and resetting tracks).

Scoring is determined at the end of the game by evaluating players' constructed buildings, super projects, progress on the time track, rescued workers, end-game objective cards, and penalizing any remaining anomaly tokens or uncompleted time-travel paradoxes.

The game concludes automatically at the end of the final era, following the asteroid impact, resolution of final actions, and a final cleanup step where players retrieve their workers.
