Andor: The Family Fantasy Game

To set up Andor: The Family Fantasy Game, place the dragon and dice in their designated spots, position the monster gor figures, lay out all fog and cave tokens, and place torches and the bridge guard. Next, position the start and end cards face down and choose two mission cards. Each player selects an adventurer board (which is double-sided to show male and female character options), along with their matching player pieces, dice, and sun tokens.

The main objective is entirely cooperative: players work together as a family of adventurers to protect the fantasy land of Andor, defeat monsters, complete chosen missions, and prevent the dragon from reaching the castle.

During a turn, players spend their limited sun tokens to move their character across the board hexes. Upon landing on a fog token, you reveal it; money can be spent for items like torches, and you can fight gors by rolling your dice.

There are no competitive scores or points in this game. Victory is judged purely on cooperation and whether your family successfully completes the adventures and missions set out in the scenario.

The game ends either in defeat if the dragon advances all the way to Rietburg, or in victory if the players successfully complete their adventure and turn over the end card in time.
