Bargain Quest

The main objective of Bargain Quest is to act as a savvy shopkeeper supplying adventurers, carefully managing your inventory, attracting heroes with targeted displays, and protecting them from monsters to gain maximum victory points.

Setup involves giving each player a shop board, setting out the upgrade and employee cards, and having everyone draft four cards from the item deck to form their initial hand before choosing a display item.

Each round proceeds through drafting cards, placing a card in your display area to attract specific heroes, selling items to customers, fighting monsters during the adventure phase, and finally upgrading your store or hiring employees.

Scoring relies on successfully defending heroes, selling valuable items, upgrading shop infrastructure, and leveraging employee abilities to accumulate the highest point total by the final round.

The game concludes after a predetermined number of rounds when all adventure, shopping, and upgrade phases have been fully resolved.

Carefully weigh which items to keep for sale versus those used for displays, as display items attract heroes but cannot be sold immediately, requiring strategic planning for maximum profit.
