Battles: Western Europe

Battles: Western Europe is a 1-2 player tactical skirmish wargame depicting American Army operations against the German Army during the Battle of the Bulge in the Belgian Ardennes from November 1944 to January 1945.

The game features 3 types of missions and 10 battle maps. Campaigns consist of either 5 or 10 random linked skirmish battles, including missions such as Meeting Engagements and Defending Towns. The game features an advanced enemy German Army AI bot opponent which makes calculated decisions based on its current situation. Day/night, weather, line of sight, suppression, and 6 terrain types with movement/cover effects are also included. Players will be able to improve their units' skill levels by doing well on the battlefield.

Game Features:

 Solitaire or 2 players.
 One D6, one D20, and two D10 dice are required. A dry erase pen is also required.
 5 minute game components setup and breakdown times.
 A medium size table is required for play.
 Adjustable starting difficulty based on player's skill level.
 Total campaign play time is approximately 2.5-5+ hours (depending on campaign length chosen). Individual battles can last between 15-45 minutes.

With most of the rules integrated into the tables, there is practically no learning curve or rules memorization. And with 10 enemy unit types, 10 battle maps, an advanced AI bot opponent, randomized enemy German Army setup, randomized enemy German Army skill levels, moderate table footprint, and quick setup/breakdown times, Battles: Western Europe offers an entertaining game for players of all skill levels, plus great replay value.
