Beasty Bar

To set up the game of Beasty Bar, take two entrance cards and place them horizontally side-by-side on the table to mark the entrance of the bar and the starting queue. Each player selects a color and takes the corresponding deck of twelve unique animal cards, shuffling them and drawing four cards to form their starting hand. Keep the rest of the deck handy to refill your hand after each turn.

The main goal of Beasty Bar is to outsmart your opponents by positioning your animals strategically so they can enter the exclusive club. Victory is achieved by successfully getting the highest number of your own animal cards into the bar by the end of the game session.

During a player's turn, they choose one animal card from their hand and place it at the back of the queue leading into the bar. If there are already animals in the queue, playing a card extends it. Once placed, the active player resolves the special action listed on that animal card, which might rearrange the queue, jump ahead of other animals, or discard rivals.

Whenever the queue reaches exactly five animal cards, the bar doors open and scoring occurs. The first two animals in line enter the bar and score points for their owners, while the last animal in line is thrown out into the trash pile empty-handed. The remaining animals in the middle slide forward to form the new queue.

The game continues in rounds until every player has completely exhausted their hand of cards and no more animals can be played. The player who successfully guided the highest total number of their own animals into the bar is declared the winner.
