Bee The Buzz

Australia is home to some of the world's most unique flora and fauna. Our native bees in particular are highly diverse and poorly understood. Did you know that most Aussie bees are solitary, don't nest in hives, or even make honey? Unfortunately native bees are under severe threat from habitat loss, and the first step to making people care about them is to get to know them first!

Bee The Buzz teaches about some native Australian bees in an entertaining and engaging manner. Players take turns to literally fly their bees - by throwing bee cards to try and land on flowers and Bee Hotels to score (these are things that help support bee habitats). At the same time, try and avoid pesticides and other human activities that hurt bees. Of course, no game is complete without some ways to buzz your opponents away! Use Pollen Power cards to gain an advantage - such as the Blindfold card that forces a player to close their eyes during their throw attempt.

Packed with practical information such as what flowers attract certain types of bees, players learn as they play. Soon you'll be a bee expert and be the buzz around town!
