Betrayal Legacy

The main objective is to survive a series of haunting scenarios that span decades, uncovering the dark history and secrets of the mansion while dealing with betrayal and horror elements unique to each chapter.

Setup involves assembling the game components: players choose specific family members, arrange initial room tiles, and organize the various decks including items, events, and legacy cards. The mansion evolves over time as new tiles, stickers, and cards are added during campaigns.

On a turn, players explore new rooms by drawing and placing tiles, interact with room features, and resolve event or item cards that affect their character stats and abilities, all while managing movement and potential dangers.

There are no traditional victory points; scoring is narrative-driven. Success is determined by surviving each chapter, retaining family heirlooms, and passing down character traits and advantages to descendants in later stories.

The game concludes after the completion of a prologue and thirteen story chapters that take place across decades, ultimately leaving players with a customized, playable copy of Betrayal at House on the Hill.
