Broken: The Card Game

Broken is a card game for 1-5 players. In the game you slip into the role of a publisher who sells board games on Kickstarter, and if possible does not deliver them. The golden rule is: having money comes from keeping money. So you play your cards in a way that buy the most profitable games possible and do not have to produce them. But be careful, because the other players have the same goal.

During the game, players take turns to play an excuse card that matches the card that is on top of the discard pile. The closer their card matches, the more money they get. Players can play sets of the same excuse to get greater rewards.
