Bye Bye Virus

INTRODUCTION: There is a virus outbreak in town. Stay safe against virus exposure by dealing with real-life situations. The deck has 3 types of cards: Protect cards, Panic cards, and Power cards.

SETUP: Choose your Deck depending on the number of players. 3 to 3 players, use the Green Deck only while for 4 to 6 players, use the Green and Blue Deck. Shuffle the Deck and place it face down on the table. As you play, throw cards face-up into the Discard pile. HOW TO PLAY: Players start with no cards. Choose any player to start and continue in a clockwise direction. For each turn, draw 1 card from the Deck into your hand. Look at it but do not show it to the others. Choose to pass your turn or play an action by discarding cards face-up into the Discard pile. You can play 1 of 3 actions: Use 1 power card and perform the effect described; or, discard any 3 panic cards to steal 1 card from any player; or, discard 3 of the same cards to pick any 1 card from the Discard pile. IMPORTANT TERMS: To discard a card: without seeing the cards, select a random card and throw it into the discard pile. To steal a card: without seeing the cards, select a random card and keep it in your hand. To pick a cards: looking at the cards, pick one and keep it in your hand.

HOW TO WIN: At any time in the game, be the first to collect one of each of the five Protect cards and shout "Bye Bye Virus" without getting caught by the Police! Take note of these 2 special power cards: Use the Stay at Home card to replace any Protect card. Use the Police card to stop someone from winning. SPECIAL RULES: All cards lost due to Special Rules are thrown into the Discard pile. Maximum 8 cards in hand: To prevent hoarding, discard any extra cards at the end of your turn. Don't touch your face: Catch any player touching their face and randomly discard one of their cards.

OUR FAVORITE POWER CARDS: There are 12 different Power cards in the deck to make it fun. Government, to Create a new rule, rule breakers to discard a random card. Citizen Watch, to pick a player to recite one of the protect card's advice from memory, if they fail, steal a card. Virus Exposure, pick a player to discard 1 Protect card or to enter quarantine (skip 2 turns). Stay fit, do 10 jumping jacks to draw 1 card. And more...
