Camel Up

Place the circular race track board on the table along with the pyramid containing the colored dice. Position the racing camels on their respective starting spaces determined by the initial dice rolls. Set out the desert/oasis tiles, spectator cards, leg betting tiles, and final winner/loser betting cards so all players have access to them.

The main goal of Camel Up is to accumulate the most money by the end of the race. Players achieve this by strategically betting on which camels will win individual legs of the race, who will ultimately win or lose the entire championship, and by leveraging desert tiles on the board.

During a turn, a player chooses one of several available actions: take a pyramid tile to roll a die and move a camel; place or move their desert/oasis tile on the track to alter camel movement and earn coins; place a leg betting tile for any camel; play a race betting card for the overall winner or loser; or form an alliance card in higher player counts.

Scoring happens during leg ends when five dice have been rolled, awarding coins based on the order of leg betting tiles. Final scoring occurs when the race ends, rewarding players who correctly guessed the overall winner and loser of the entire game while penalizing incorrect bets.

The game finishes as soon as any regular camel crosses the finish line, prompting final scoring to determine the wealthiest player.
