Cascadia: Rolling Hills

Cascadia: Rolling setup involves distributing a personal grid sheet, an inventory tracking sheet, and a set of starting nature tokens to each player. In the center of the play area, place the common animal dice, central rolling dice, and stack the habitat cards by type in ascending levels, revealing the top four active habitat cards.

The main objective of Cascadia: Rolling is to score the highest number of victory points by efficiently drafting dice results, placing animals onto your designated habitat cards, and optimizing your rolling strategy across 20 rounds of gameplay.

During a turn, players simultaneously roll their personal dice alongside central dice. Every player selects one animal type to collect based on the results. You can spend nature tokens to adjust dice values or manipulate animal types. After collecting animals, you may optionally complete habitat cards by spending the required animals, and you can trigger various board bonuses when completing specific milestone habitats.

Scoring happens at the end of the game where you sum up points from all completed habitat cards, bonuses gained from achieving multiple completions, and remaining resources such as leftover animals and unused nature tokens. The player with the highest total wins.

The game concludes automatically at the end of the 20th round when the final card slot runs empty. Final points are tallied across all categories to determine the winner.
