Cascadia: Rolling Rivers

Each player receives two personal dice with varied animal icons, a tally sheet, a habitat sheet, a player aid card, and a writing utensil. Four different habitat sheets are available for selection. The habitat cards are separated by tier levels, shuffled, and twenty cards per tier form a draw pile with face-up cards displayed. Completion cards are shuffled and four are revealed from left to right. Four large shared dice are placed in the center of the play area for everyone to use each round.

The primary objective of Cascadia: Rolling Rivers is to score the most points by strategically collecting wildlife types and completing habitat cards over twenty rounds. Players manage resources, use nature tokens to convert dice results, and fulfill environmental requirements to maximize their scoring potential.

Each round begins by rolling four central dice and everyone's personal dice. Players combine shared and personal dice to select one wildlife type and record it on their tally sheets. Actions include collecting animals, spending nature tokens to up-convert or down-convert dice results, and optionally completing available habitat cards by paying the required animal costs to gain bonuses and points.

Scoring is calculated at the end of the game based on the player's habitat sheet markings and completed habitat cards. Points are awarded for animal tallies, completed rows and columns, terrain type matches on environment sheets, landmark spaces, and specific wildlife pairing goals.

The game concludes after twenty rounds. Players tally their total scores from all categories on their habitat and tally sheets, and the player with the highest score wins the game.
