Century: A New World

Set up Century: A New World by laying out the main board, placing exploration tiles over designated spots, and distributing bonus tiles and point cards. Each player receives a player board and a starting set of settlers in their chosen color, ready to be deployed on the board.

The objective of the game is to collect and manage resources, trade goods, and deploy settlers to explore new territory and acquire point cards, ultimately achieving the highest victory point total through efficient planning and strategic resource conversion.

During a turn, a player must choose to either place their settlers on an unoccupied location on the board to perform that location's action, or retrieve their settlers. Actions include gathering goods, trading resources, or acquiring point cards and exploration tiles, with specific placement costs based on occupancy.

Scoring happens at the end of the game based on victory points accumulated from completed point cards, acquired exploration tiles, bonus tiles, and leftover settler pairs on the player board. Every pair of settlers remaining adds a bonus point, rewarding careful economy.

The game's conclusion is triggered when certain conditions are met, such as players reaching a threshold of acquired cards or exploration tiles running out, prompting a final round before tallying scores to determine the winner.
