Century: Eastern Wonders

To set up Century: Eastern Wonders, assemble the hexagonal island tiles in a central layout. Place the four port tiles in the corners and fill the remaining hexes with market tiles. Arrange different colored trade cubes in bowls near the board. Each player receives a player board with a trading outpost track, starting cargo limits, a small wooden boat placed on the board, and a few starting cubes.

The main objective is to act as a historical merchant navigating between island markets to trade goods, build outposts, and collect valuable victory point tiles in order to build the most lucrative trading empire.

On your turn, you may first move your boat to an adjacent island tile for free, or pay trade cubes to travel further. After moving, you must choose one of three main actions: harvest basic cubes from your current island, perform a market trade action to exchange cubes according to that tile's recipe, or visit a port to claim a victory point tile if you have the required goods.

Scoring relies on claiming point tiles from port islands, uncovering point values on your player board as you place outposts, and acquiring bonus tiles when clearing board columns. These points are summed at the end to determine the winner.

The game concludes when any player successfully claims their fourth victory tile. The round is then completed so every player has an equal turn count, and final scores are tallied.
