Chicken vs Hotdog

To set up Chicken vs Hotdog, shuffle the challenge deck and place it face down in the center of the table. Each player or team chooses a projectile (either Chicken or Hotdog) and takes the corresponding cardboard pieces, assembling them in front of them with the grey side face up. Finally, each participant shuffles their unique set of numbered bidding cards and draws a starting hand of four cards to begin the game.

The main goal of the game is to be the first player or team to successfully flip all of your projectile's grey cards to their vibrant, colored side, or alternatively, to be the first to score six points through successful challenges and opponent failures.

During a turn, a challenge card is revealed, showing a specific trick and the number of allowed attempts. Both players or teams secretly choose one bidding card from their hand and reveal them simultaneously. The highest bidder wins the right to attempt the challenge using their projectile. If there is a tie in the bidding, a fast-paced tiebreaker mini-game determines who gets to attempt the challenge.

Points are awarded based on challenge outcomes. If the winning bidder successfully completes the trick within the allowed attempts, they claim the challenge card and score a point. However, if they fail, the opposing team is awarded the point instead, creating a strategic tension around bidding on difficult tricks.

The game concludes as soon as one team successfully completes enough challenges to reveal the full colored picture of their projectile, or reaches the target score of six points, declaring them the ultimate dexterity champions.
