In “Clearing”, you play face-up face cards, your characters, next to each other while using the number cards in your hand, your resources, to remove the enemy cards that try to surround them. If your continuous group of face cards, your crew, is completely surrounded by enemy cards, the game ends in a loss. After the entire deck is drawn and the final enemy cards are placed, if your crew is not completely surrounded, you win. To succeed in “Clearing”, you’ll need to strategically extend your crew with additional characters while using your resources to keep them from being overwhelmed.
