Clever Cubed

To set up Clever Cubed, place the game box on the table, along with a dice tray for rolling. Each player receives a score pad and a pencil. The six colored dice (yellow, pink, brown, blue, turquoise, and white) are placed within reach of the active player. Ensure the rulebook is accessible for reference.

The objective of Clever Cubed is to score the most points by strategically selecting and marking off numbers and sections on your personal score sheet. Players aim to create combinations, earn bonuses, and fill specific areas to maximize their final score.

On your turn, you roll all six dice. You then select one die to use, marking its value in the corresponding colored area on your score sheet. After selecting, all dice with a value lower than the chosen die are set aside and cannot be used by you this turn. You repeat this process two more times, for a total of three selections. Any dice remaining after your three selections can then be chosen by other players to mark on their sheets.

Scoring occurs throughout the game as you fill in sections and complete objectives on your score sheet. Each colored area has unique scoring rules, often involving sums, sequences, or specific number placements. Bonuses are awarded for completing rows, columns, or achieving certain milestones, which can grant extra dice rolls, re-rolls, or additional marks. The 'Second Chance' area provides opportunities to score points from unused dice.

The game ends after a predetermined number of rounds, typically indicated by a track on the score sheet. Once the final round is completed, players tally their scores from all completed sections and bonuses. The player with the highest total score is declared the winner.
