We established our strength in a time of great strife. Whilst the rest of Crayne was celebrating the reconnection of the world with the Magic Realm and the subsequent defeat of the Titans, Mindassa came under threat from an an entirely new but ancient enemy. One that had been buried in the sands of the desert and fogotten for over 4000 years.

The Tide of Dust had unsealed their time-worn tombs and released their ancient curses, but without the flow of magic in the world the dead lay dormant. That is until the day Archmage Tymirus completed the Re-weaving and magic was allowed to flow into Crayne once more. Magical energy surged into world and the curse of the Ancients was fueled.

The archaic dead rose from the cracks in their tombs and shambled across the desert in search for the living. As if one invasion wasn't enough another unknown enemy appeared: a swarm of deadly giant citinous insectoids began destroying small villages before any resistance could be mustered.

Were these two new enemies working together? Were The Hive and The Ancients under the guidance of the same mastermind? Was their even a mastermind at all? Or did the sudden world changes awaken both factions, disturbing their rest and rousing their hunger?

Only one thing is certain. The Mindassan lords must muster their forces and fight. Lest they too become just another casualty of history for future scholars to uncover.

Mercenaries of Mindassa expands the Crayne universe by introducing two new factions, both with a unique playstyle, and by adding a new game variant called the Mercenary Market.

The two new factions increases Crayne's replay ability and the Mercenary Market adds a new dimension to the strategy.

There will also be more solo play mission content: Defend the Spires and Expansion of the Hive

The Mercenary Market and both new factions can be played with all variants of Crayne, including solo-play, multiplayer and team play.
