Cutthroat Island Dueling Pirates

Bury your treasure or duel other pirates during your turn. Be sneaky and cunning just don't get caught or you'll pay the price! Cutthroat Island Dueling Pirates is a card plus dice game. The pirate that finds and holds on to the most treasure wins!

Each pirate is dealt 4 cards and given one 6 sided die. The remaining cards will are placed in the middle of the table to create the draw pile. Pirates have two choices during their turn. 1) they can bury treasure or 2) they can duel another pirate. Buried treasure comes in $1, $2, or $3 cards. When a pirate chooses to duel another pirate each pirate will roll their dice to see who is victorious. To the victor goes the spoils, one treasure card is randomly chosen from the losing pirate's treasure pile.

Your turn ends after you have played your card and be sure to draw back up to 4 cards. In addition to dueling and treasure cards, there are special cards that make the game even more fun and unpredictable.

How good of a pirate are you? Cheating is not only allowed but encouraged! Just don't get caught. Any pirate that catches another pirate cheating can take one treasure card from their pile. The game ends when the draw pile is gone, which signals the last round of play. The pirate with the most treasure wins that round and collects one gold coin. Play a quick 10 minute round or multiple rounds and see who is the best pirate!
