The rules, step by step

Setup
To set up the game, place the game board, representing the city, in the center of the table. Each player receives one die, a bag containing 10 green cubes, and one monster card, which remains face-up. Players place their dice on one of the starting spaces, showing a value of 2. Finally, all army pieces are placed into the black bag, and green cubes are placed on all empty spaces on the board.
Objective
The objective of Destroy BCN! is for players, embodying giant monsters, to compete against each other to become the most powerful. This is achieved by strategically moving around the city, destroying buildings (represented by cubes), and attacking other monsters or army units to collect more cubes than opponents.
On your turn
During a player's turn, they perform two main actions. First, they move their monster by rotating their die a number of spaces equal to its top face value, in any straight direction. A single 90-degree turn is allowed during movement. Any green cubes encountered along the path are collected into the player's bag. Second, the player activates or moves army pieces. If there are still army pieces in the black bag, two are drawn and placed on unoccupied spaces not adjacent to monsters. If no army pieces remain in the bag, two existing army pieces are moved a number of spaces equal to their value.
Scoring
The player who has collected the most green cubes by the end of the game is declared the winner. Cubes are primarily collected by moving over them with your monster or by successfully attacking army pieces. Each cube represents a point towards your final score.
Game end
The game concludes under two conditions: either all buildings on the board have been destroyed (meaning all green cubes have been collected), or a player is eliminated from the game because they cannot discard the required number of cubes after being attacked by another monster. The player with the most cubes at this point wins.
Tips
When moving your monster, prioritize collecting cubes to increase your score and attacking other monsters to force them to discard cubes. Be mindful of army pieces, as they can interrupt your movement and force you to discard cubes if you land on their space. Use your army pieces strategically to block opponents or clear paths for yourself. Remember that infantry has a value of 1, armored units 2, and aviation 3, which is important for resolving attacks against them.
