dice_mancala

ダイスマンカラ (Dice_Mancala) is a dice game from Japan. The players are dice farmers, and work hard in the dice fields harvesting dice.

Using a Kalah mechanism, players collect dice which they then use to roll and complete treasure cards. When a player has got their fourth treasure card, the game ends once everyone has had their turn. The player with the most points from their treasure and from the dice they harvested is the winner.

Whilst the active player rolls dice, and the other players also get to roll dice. The more dice the active player rolls, the better their chance to gain treasure, but the more chances the other players get too.

The designer says the game needs more than luck to win. Players make strategic choices through the game. user summary
