Dice Miner

To set up Dice Miner, players shake the bag of dice and drop them into the dice tower to create a pyramid-shaped mountain of dice on the table. Each player also selects a character card with unique abilities and takes a score sheet to track points throughout the game.

The main objective of Dice Miner is to score the most victory points by drafting dice from the mountain, building consecutive tunnel networks, collecting treasure gems, and managing hazards across three rounds of play.

Each round consists of four phases: excavation, magic, scoring, and replenishment. During the excavation phase, players take turns drafting dice from the peak of the mountain pyramid. Special beer dice allow players to force rolls and manipulate drafting options.

Scoring happens between rounds. Numbered white dice score as straight tunnels starting from one. Yellow treasure dice score based on gems, with bonus points for the player with the most gems. Black hazard dice subtract points unless mitigated by pickaxe tools. Character cards provide passive scoring bonuses.

The game concludes after three complete rounds of drafting, magic manipulation, and scoring. All points from tunnels, treasures, and bonuses are tallied, and the player with the highest total wins the game.
