Objective
Dr. Facilier's objective is twofold: first, you must find and play the Talisman item card from your Fortune Pile to one of your locations. Second, you must find and play the 'Rule New Orleans' card from your Fortune Pile. If you control the Talisman when 'Rule New Orleans' is revealed, you win the game. If not, 'Rule New Orleans' is returned to the Fortune Pile.
On your turn
During your turn, you will play cards from your hand to advance your objective. When an opponent plays a Hero with a strength of 3 or less into your Realm, the Talisman automatically attaches to that Hero. You must defeat that Hero to retrieve the Talisman to the bottom of your Realm. When you play a Divination card, you shuffle your Fortune Pile, reveal three random cards from it, and resolve their Fortune Abilities in any order. If you control the Talisman and 'Rule New Orleans' is revealed, you win. Otherwise, resolve the Fortune Abilities of the revealed cards and discard them.
Scoring
The game is won by the first player to achieve their unique objective. For Dr. Facilier, this means successfully playing the Talisman to a location and then revealing the 'Rule New Orleans' card from the Fortune Pile while still controlling the Talisman.
Game end
The game ends immediately when any player successfully achieves their unique Villainous objective. If the Fate deck runs out of cards, the game also ends, and the player who has made the most progress towards their objective (or has the most power tokens if progress is tied) wins.
Tips
Focus on cycling through your Fortune Pile to find the Talisman and 'Rule New Orleans'. Use your Divination cards strategically to reveal multiple cards from the Fortune Pile at once, increasing your chances of finding 'Rule New Orleans'. Be mindful of Heroes with strength 3 or less, as they can steal your Talisman, delaying your objective. Prioritize defeating these Heroes quickly to regain control of the Talisman.
