Dixit: Odyssey

To set up Dixit: Odyssey, first assemble the two parts of the score board and place it in the center of the table. Each player then selects a voting board and places their corresponding colored rabbit on the zero space of the score board. The 84 Dixit cards are shuffled, and six cards are dealt face down to each player. Players should keep their cards secret. Any remaining cards form a draw pile.

The main objective of Dixit: Odyssey is to be the first player to reach or exceed 30 points on the score track. Players achieve points by cleverly describing their cards as the storyteller or by correctly guessing the storyteller's card as a regular player, while also getting other players to vote for their own cards.

A turn begins with the selection of a storyteller, which can be done randomly. The storyteller chooses one card from their hand and describes it aloud using a word, phrase, or story. Other players then select a card from their hand that they believe best matches the storyteller's description and pass it face down to the storyteller. The storyteller shuffles all the received cards, including their own, and places them face up on the score board, assigning them positions from 1 to 12. Players (excluding the storyteller) then vote for the card they think belongs to the storyteller. If playing with more than seven players, each player can vote for two images, but cannot vote for their own card.

Scoring depends on how well the storyteller's card is identified. If all players correctly guess the storyteller's image, or if no one guesses it, the storyteller receives no points, and all other players receive two points. In any other scenario, the storyteller receives three points, as do the players who correctly identified the storyteller's image. Additionally, each player (excluding the storyteller) receives one bonus point for every vote their own submitted card receives, up to a maximum of three bonus points.

The game concludes at the end of the round in which any player successfully reaches or surpasses 30 points on the score track. If multiple players achieve this milestone simultaneously, or if there is a tie for the highest score, those players share the victory.
