User summary 独裁者はつらいよ (Dokusaisha wa Tsurai yo) is the card game Dictator wa Tsurai yo (in English 'It's tough being a dictator').

Dictator wa Tsurai yo is a card game with a theme of a dictator in old Soviet Union. This games uses nine sets of four identical cards. Your objective is to score points by completing sets of four cards in your hand.

Each turn, you ask another player to give you a specific card. If that player has any, all of them are given to you, otherwise you draw a card from the deck. If you have a set of four cards in your hand, you display them in front of you and score victory points (similar to Old Maid or Go Fish).

A special effect is activated when a set is made. A set of chancellors has may purge a person (remove one displayed card from the game), a set of generals may kidnap a person (steal one displayed card), and so on.

When a player is betrayed by people, that player takes a horseshit token, which counts as negative points.

The highest scorer wins the game.

Publisher summary 旧ソ連の独裁者を題材にしたカードゲームです。 手札を４枚づつ配り、手番プレイヤーは手札に持っている番号を、任意のプレイヤーに持っているか聞きます。 聞かれたプレイヤーは、それを持っていた場合全て引き渡します。持っていなかった場合、聞いたプレイヤーは山札から一枚ドローします。 これを繰り返し、同じ数字が手元に4枚そろったら公開して得点札になります。 公開したタイミングで、各カードの能力が発動します。 カードの能力で得点札を拉致されたプレイヤーには「馬糞トークン」がなすりつけられます。当然得点はマイナスになります。 より多くの得点を得たプレイヤーの勝利です。
