The game contains two different variants: one game for two people and one for 2 to 4 people.

In the 2-player game, each player alternately moves one of his figures. The "villager" may only move one space horizontally or vertically onto an unoccupied space. The "vampire" player is also only allowed to move one square, horizontally and vertically. But he may also hit by jumping, also diagonally. The winner is the player who met his or her victory condition.

The 2 - 4 person variant is a modified Halma with its familiar move and victory options.
