Setup
Dvonn is played on a specialized hexagonal board with 49 intersection points. Each player receives 23 regular pieces (one set black, one set white) and three Dvonn pieces. The board starts empty, and players take turns placing their Dvonn pieces first, followed by all regular pieces randomly or strategically on the intersections.
Objective

On your turn
Players alternate turns moving either a single piece or an entire stack of pieces. Movement must be in a straight line across adjacent intersections, and the distance moved must exactly equal the height of the moving stack. Blocked pieces cannot move.
Scoring
Scoring is determined by counting the total number of pieces controlled by each player within valid stacks at the end of the game. The player with the most controlled pieces wins.
Game end
