Eternal Decks

Preparing a game of Eternal Decks involves setting up the central board with the appropriate player count adjustments, placing jewelry and star tokens in their designated spaces, and sorting the eternal decks by category. Each player receives a starter deck of cards matching their chosen color, a set of hint tokens, and any required scenario components. The remaining decks are filtered according to scenario rules and placed on the board.

The main goal of Eternal Decks is cooperative victory. Players work together to break eternal curses, gather four stars, and navigate the unfolding scenario without running out of cards or triggering loss conditions.

During a player's turn, they choose one action from four primary options: play cards into the field to generate jewels and progress scenarios, play cards into the river to manage hand limits, buy crystals, or use heart tokens to transfer cards to teammates.

Progress and scoring are tracked through star tokens. Players earn stars by successfully completing rows on the main board, buying crystals using specific card combinations, flipping eternal deck symbols, or fulfilling ability card requirements.

The game concludes when either condition is met: players successfully collect four star tokens to win, or a player cannot take a turn due to an empty hand, or the river overflows, resulting in a cooperative defeat.
